Deeply saddened by Paul Darrow’s passing. Avon was one of the characters that I always wanted to zip around the galaxy with as a young girl. Such a brilliant character.
One of my fondest event memories was Paul singing Elvis songs in the Hospitality room at a Doctor Who event. I may have even swooned a bit!
He always seemed to be brilliant with fans and he will very definitely be missed.
