New pyjamas on Christmas Eve is a big thing now with lots of places cashing in on what to many is a bit of a new tradition. 

Nice new pyjamas on Christmas Eve has been a “thing” in my family just about forever. I guess it meant were neat and tidy and in clean jammies for Santa, or for the obligatory present opening photos on Christmas morning. 

It’s one of my favourite of our traditions though. As soon as tea is over on Christmas Eve and Stephen has been taken to his hotel for the night it’s on with the pyjamas and time for hot chocolate and final preparations for the big day. 

This year I’ve gone with a space theme and llama slipper socks.
