My initial plans for the evening changed due to really needing to eat after work, but once down in the Cavern and amongst chums my first band of the evening was Sleuth, who have been before but I don’t think I’ve seen. I will, however, pop along to see them in the future.

Next up was what I think is our first 2nd Gen band of the Liverpool IPO event. Multinut Butter‘s frontman is the son of Richard Snow who was a regular performer at the event in previous years. 

The band brought the psych and definitely made an impression in the back room of the Cavern. I have video footage which will probably appear in another post once I’ve got everything uploaded. 

Finally, it was time to pop to the front stage for something nice a mellow from Lloyd and Daly. They did a Brian Wilson cover and some lovely Suns tunes.
