As I got off my train from work last night at Eccles Station I came almost face to face with The Flying Scotsman. Okay, so it was over the fence in the old loop, but still! 

It was too dark for decent photos on my phone. I did my best and the one posted below has had the brightness ramped up just so you can just about see the nameplate. 

It was a lovely surprise at the end of the working day. I even went and got dad to come down from the carpark to the platform to take a look.
